A LITTLE HELP GETTING STARTED
Your questions.
A clear next step.
Joining, finding a society, sharing a prayer and staying connected.
How do I join Christ’s Little Band?
Use “Join the Band” to share your first and last name, phone number and neighbourhood. Choose a society if you know one, or ask CLB to help you find a local contact. You review and send the enquiry from your email app.
What if my area or society is not listed?
You can still enquire. Choose “I don’t know / my area isn’t listed” and tell us where you live. CLB can contact you on the phone number you provide and recommend a suitable location.
How are societies and circuits connected?
A local CLB band belongs to a Methodist society. Societies are grouped within circuits, and the circuits form part of the diocese. The joining page offers the society suggestions currently available in our source archive.
Can I keep a prayer request private?
Yes. Private is the default. A request intended for public sharing needs your consent and CLB review before publication. Your email goes to the CLB mailbox; for a confidential pastoral conversation, ask for a minister before sharing sensitive details.
Where can I find meeting times and membership arrangements?
Your local society or circuit officers can confirm meeting times, joining arrangements and any contributions. These differ locally, so the website does not assume one schedule or fee for every society.
How can we share a circuit or diocesan announcement?
Email hello@christslittleband.org with the activity title, organising circuit or society, date, venue and a contact officer. CLB can review the details before a notice is added to the website.
