HISTORY OF NORTHERN ACCRA DIOCESAN CHRIST’S LITTLE BAND
The Northern Accra Diocesan Christ’s Little Band (CLB) was carved out of the already existing
Accra Diocesan Band. The proposal started in the year 2000 at Conference, but it was in January 2017 that the Official launching was done at the Ebenezer Methodist Cathedral, Madina as the Diocesan Head.
The New Diocese was formally inaugurated with Rt. Reverend Prof. Joseph M. Y. Edusa – Eyison and Brother Nimo Ahenkorah were inducted into Office in 2018.
The Diocesan Christ’s Little Band (CLB) Officers were elected on 19th May, 2018 at the Ernest Bruce Memorial Methodist Church, Adabraka. The elections were supervised by the then Connexional CLB President, Opanyin Eric Acquah Sampson and Brother K. Addo, the then Accra Diocesan Lay Chairman. The Elected Officers were inducted into Office on 17th February, 2019 at the Resurrection Methodist Church, Adenta.

ACTIVITIES
During the tenure of office, of these inaugurated Officers, the following activities were undertaken;
Blood donation in conjunction with the Accra Diocesan CLB
Methofest: Participated actively and sang Ebibindwom during the Gospel Rock Show
Evangelism: We evangelized at the Ga Sub Urban Circuit communities in and around the Diocese; Domiabra, Ahialormekope, Tetu, etc, to win souls for Christ
Connexional Conference: We participated in the 10th Biennial/58th Connexional Conference at Tarkwa and we were 2nd and 3rd in the Quiz and Preaching Competitions respectively
Inaugurations: Thirteen (13) New Society Bands were inaugurated during the period
Diocesan Conference: The first Diocesan Delegates Conference was a one-day Conference due to COVID 19 pandemic. It was held on 24th April, 2021
Seminar: A Seminar was organised to sharpen the skills of members on Christian leadership, Commitment, Account preparations, Report writing, etc.
Visitations: We visited the Weslayan Boys Academy at Kaneshie and presented food items, toiletries, provisions, etc. to them
